Signed to the limiration page, with an additional inscription from the author to the front paste down, dated 10-1-32. 

A collection of two stories written by English novelist, John Hampson, who was best known for his 1931 novel 'Saturday Night at the Greyhound'.

Comprised of 'The Mare's Nest' and 'The Long Shadow'.

Bound in the publisher's original quarter cloth, with paper-covered boards.

Condition

Bound in the publisher's original quarter cloth, with paper-covered boards. Externally, very good, with light marking to the boards and a little discolouration to the board extremities. Light rubbing to the head and tail of the spine. Light offsetting to endpapers, with the author's ink inscription to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
