Early Edition, Fine Binding

In uniform fine bindings, with gilt tooling to the spines. 

Being early editions of all three works. Comprising of:  A Voyage in the Sunbeam (1888), Sunshine and Storm in the East (1881), In The Trades, The Tropics & The Roaring Forties (1886), 

Two folding maps to 'Sunshine and Storm in the East', frontispiece and one folding map to 'A Voyage in the Sunbeam', frontispiece and one folding map to 'In the Trades, The Tropics, and the Roaring Forties'. 

Collated, all volumes are complete.

'A Voyage in the Sunbeam' follows her journey around the world in 1876-1877 with her family, friends and crew. 'Sunshine and Storm in the East' and 'In the Trades, the Tropics' follow later voyages. 

A lovely set of these works by this noted female travel author.

Condition

In uniform full calf bindings, with gilt tooling to the spines. Externally, very smart with light shelfwear to the head and tail of spine and to the raised bands. Light tidemark to the front and rear boards of 'Sunshine, and Storm'. Bookplate to the front endpapers, 'St George R.y.S'. Internally, all volumes are firmly bound. Pages are bright. Chips to the final map of 'Sunshine & Storm' at edges, not affecting image. Just the odd spot to pages.
