Issued in the U.S under the title 'A Rocking-Chair across Russia'. Ronald Searle was a British artist and satirical cartoon artist. He created the famous St Trinian's School and collaborated with Geoffrey Willans on the Molesworth series. Searle received many critical recognition for his work especially in America. He won the National Cartoonists Society's Advertising and Illustration Award in 1959 and 1965, The Reuben Award in 1960 and many more.
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Dustwrapper is price-clipped. Light chipping to the dustwrapper at the head and tail of spine. as well as rubbing to the joints and extremities. Closed tear to the front wrap. Tape repairs to the head of spine internally. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
