First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

In the original unclipped dustwrapper. Prior owners' inscriptions to the recto of front endpaper, dated 1959 and 1973. Sir Vivian Fuch's expeditionary team completed the commonwealth Tans-Atlantic Expedition. During this expedition a variety of scientific data were collected from seismic soundings and gravimetric readings. Illustrated throughout, with images from the expeditions.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. In original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, generally smart with bumping to the extremities. Minor damp staining to the bottom edge of boards. Dustwrapper is generally smart with chipping to the head and tail of spine. Rubbing to the joints and to the extremities. Scattered spots to wraps. Tape repair internally to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with scattered spotting to the fore edge, not affecting the pages.
