This work is a travel classic, discussing Henry Maundrell's Easter pilgrimage from Aleppo to Jerusalem in the year 1697. With a vignette to the title page, eight folding plates, and seven plates. Maundrell's writing had its start in his diary which he carried with his whilst he travelled. 'An Account of the Author's Journey to the Banks of Euphrates at Beer, and to the Country of Mesopotamia' is also included to the rear. Collated from Copac from a copy held at the British Library, complete.
