Collated, complete. Copiously illustrated throughout with black and white plans (one of which is folding) and eighteen coloured plates (twelve of which are folding). In the publisher's original blue cloth binding, with attractive illustrated endpapers. This copy is lacking its original dustwrapper, as usual. In the original French.

Internally firmly bound. pages age toned to edges with the odd spot and handling mark. Prior owner's ink inscription to the occasional page. Evidence of prior owner's pencil inscription to title page. Small pen and ink inscription by prior owner to the occasional page. Faint tidemark to fore edge of the first few pages, not affecting text. Tape repair to verso of folding map facing page 106, image to recto unaffected.
