Sir William Howard Russell was an Irish reporter who is regarded as one of the first modern war correspondents. This work covers Albert Edward's tour in India during 1875-1876. This tour was intended to strengthen ties between India and England.

He visited more than 21 towns and cities before returning to England in May 1876.

Condition
In a full cloth binding. Rebacked, with the original spine laid down and the boards preserved. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to the extremities and to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with occasional light spots to pages.
