A collection of the beautiful coastal scenes by Clarkson Frederick Stanfield, portraying the British Channel.

Illustrated with a frontispiece, vignette title page, and thirty-eight plates.

Collated, complete.

Stanfield was a prominent marine painter.

Condition

In a full morocco binding. Externally, the head of the spine is lifting. Crack to the head of the front joint. Minor bumping to the extremities. Light marks to the boards and spine, heavier to the rear board. Rear board is cocked. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some spots.
