A detailed look into Switzerland in the first half of the nineteenth century.

Illustrated by William Henry Bartlett, a British artist. Bartlett is best known today for his steel engravings.

Described by William Beattie, a Scottish physician and poet.

Condition

In a fine full morocco binding. Externally, smart. A little fading to the spine. A couple of very light marks to the boards and spine, and a little rubbing to the joints. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age-toned and generally clean with the odd spot.
