This work provides a guide to horse riding for women, covering the history of the goddess of the hunt, bridles, the ideal female hunter, riding astride and side-saddle, advice on dress and stable knowledge.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally generally smart with creasing and bumping to the boards, and fading to the spine with very small closed tears to the head and tail. Offsetting and spotting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with minor age toning and spotting throughout.
