    Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding

    A new edition. In the publisher's original full cloth binding. With beautiful illustrated paste-downs by Emery Walker. A collection of Thomas Hardy's short stories including his popular, 'Wessex Tales' and 'A Group of Noble Dames'. Thomas Hardy is best known for his classic novel, 'Far from the Madding Crowd'.

    Condition

    In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some shelf wear to the extremities. Fading to the spine and some marks to the boards. Hinges are strained but firm. Some light offsetting to the free endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with some offsetting to the half title page and the occasional small mark throughout.
