    First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding

    The first edition of this work. 'The Therapeutics of Mineral Springs and Climates' discusses the use of mineral springs and climates in therapeutics, healing a variety of illnesses. Hydrotherapy had seen a great increase in popularity within the preceding one-hundred years of this work being published. Written by Isaac Burney Yeo, who was an English physician who had a full medical post as the professor of clinical therapeutics and medicine at King's College Hospital. With eight pages of publisher's adverts to the rear.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Remains of a label that was formerly adhered to the tail of the spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. A couple of very light marks to the boards. Rear hinge is strained but remains firm. Label to the front pastedown. Institutional stamp to the recto to the front endpaper. Internally, binding is strained in a few pages. Pages are bright and clean.
