The Aubrey-Maturin series is the author's most renowned work, comprising of twenty completed novels and one unfinished. The story follows that of naval officer Jack Aubrey and naturalist, physician, and spy Stephen Maturin, and in particular, Aubrey's ascent from lieutenant to rear admiral in the Royal Navy. Set during the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars. 

Including an illustrated diagram of a square-rigged ship. 

In the unclipped dust wrapper.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is lovely and bright, with just a small amount of creasing to the corners of the front flap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
