The first edition of this work. In the original price-clipped dustwrapper. The fourth volume in the Lonsdale Library of sports games and pastimes series. This volume focuses solely on fine angling for coarse fish, fishes including the roach, dace, perch, rudd, tench, carp, and more. Illustrated with a frontispiece, thirty-one plates, and numerous in-text illustrations. By Eric Parker, and a variety of other authors, including J. H. R. Bazley, A. J. Rudd, J. A. Milne, and many more. Undated, dated from Jisc. Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original price-clipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. A very little bumping to the extremities. Dustwrapper with edgewear, resulting in closed tears and some chips, heavier to the head and tail of the spine. Some light marks and discolouration to the wraps and spine. Evidence of a label being formerly adhered to the front fly leaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
