First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

The first and only edition of this work. Very scarce and very appealing. Last seen at auction ten years ago. In the publisher's original illustrated boards. This work was issued by Perrier Water, with their copyright and logo to the verso of each leaf. The illustrator of this work, Charles Crombie, was an editorial cartoonist. He produced many humorous postcard cartoons such as 'The Rules of Golf' which was first published by Perrier in 1906.

Condition

In a quarter cloth binding with illustrated boards. Externally, generally smart with a tear to the cloth at the spine. A few spots, and light tidemarks to the edges of the boards. Large tidemark to the rear board, affecting the final advertisement leaf. Title page is detached but present. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with occasional offsetting and scattered spots.
