A new, revised edition of this work. A concise and useful cookery work, intended for students of cookery, as well as to young housekeepers of moderate means. Containing a total of over six hundred recipes. The author has laid out the recipes in a clear and concise manner, with detailed directions given, including noting the heat of the oven, and notes on garnishing. Written by May Little, a first class diplomee and last staff teacher at the National Society's Training School of Cookery in London. She was also the author of 'A Year's Dinners'. Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the British Library.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Minor rubbing to the front board. Small mark to the rear board. The odd spot to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the odd spot. The occasional ink annotation to the margins.
