Publishers' Original Binding

Known for his highly unscrupulous business practices, Curll published huge amounts of books in his lifetime, and was noted for his "any publicity is good publicity" business acumen and clashes with Alexander Pope. Contains plates throughout.

Condition

In cloth binding with gilt detailing. Externally very smart. Minor wear to boards only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean throughout.
