A fifth revised and enlarged edition, with a preface honouring the author of the text, J. Herbert Slater who passed away just before this edition was completed. Containing sixteen plates, as well as various vignettes and facsimiles. Direct from the library of the late Hugh Selbourne MD (1906-1973), a noted book collector and diarist.

Condition

In cloth binding with gilt detailing. Externally very smart. Minor rubbing and wear to front board only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean throughout.
