Illustrated throughout, with numerous instructional diagrams throughout. The seventh impression of this work. Written by John Roberts Jr. a dominant Welsh professional player of English billiards. He was a great promoter of the sport and notable manufacturer of billiard cues.

Condition

In a full cloth binding with pictorial boards and spine. Externally, smart with bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Front board has faded slightly. Front hinge is tender. Prior owner's inscription to the verso of front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with just the odd spot.
