A lovely set of seven works from the Kunftler Monographien in derbindung mit undern heransgegeben, in the original publisher's cloth bindings.
Edited by H. Knackfuss. A lovely German collection of works of monographs and art published in the late nineteenth century.
Includes the following works from the series of various first and early editions and by various authors. All works are densely illustrated throughout the text in black and white.
Volume I, Raffael by H. Knackfuss (1898) is the fifth edition.
Volume II, Rubens by H. Knackfuss (1898) is the fifth edition.
Volume IX, H. Von Werner by Adolf Rosenberg (1895) is the first edition.
Volume XI, Knaus by Ludwig Pietsch (1896) is the first edition.
Volume XVII, Defregger by Adolf Rosenberg (1897) is the first edition. The front board is heavily marked.
Volume XX, Reinhold Begas by Alfred Gotthold Meyer (1897) is the first edition.
Volume XXIII, Vautier by Adolf Rosenberg (1897) is the first edition. The rear board is cracked.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth bindings. Externally, smart. There is some minor bumping to the heads and tails of the spines and to the extremities. The front board of Defregger is heavily marked, and there is a large crack to the rear board of Vautier. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some light age toning.
