An illustrated edition of a small selection of Robert Browning's poetry, with frontispiece and four plates, illustrated by Alice Ross. Collated, complete.

Robert Browning was a Victorian poet particularly celebrated for his dramatic monologues and long poems. However this edition, featuring a selection chosen by Rev. Edward Frederick Hoernlé, features 11 of his smaller poems, including 'The Pied Piper of Hamelin' and 'The Boy and the Angel'.

Features an advertisement for the book to the rear, with a review dated December 1907.

Condition

In a full cloth binding. Externally bright and in lovely condition. Internally firmly bound, with bright and clean pages. Frontispiece tissue guard still attached, and all illustrations accounted for an in excellent condition.
