Loosely inserted are a prior owner's notations regarding the timetable.
Bradshaw's guides were first published in 1839 and are named after the founder George Bradshaw. The range expanded to railway timetables for Continental Europe, India, Australia and New Zealand as well as the middle-east.
The main timetable for the Indian Railways is still referred to as the Newman Indian Bradshaw today.
Comprising, No: 1,139 January 1961, No: 1,160 October 1962, No: 1,161 November 1962.
These volumes contain indexes for railway stations across India as well as carriage services, retiring rooms, and freight trains. This is in addition to the train timetables.

Condition
In the publisher's original wrappers. Externally, generally smart with chips to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Scattered spots to the front and rear wraps. Front hinge to the 1961 volume is strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with occasional scattered spots.
