This work is split into the seasons and looks at the biology of nature in this season. There are chapters on autumn fruits, spring flowers, caterpillars, birds' eggs, courtship of birds, and hibernation.
In a very smart calf binding, with gilt stamping to the spine and front board. Crest to the front board of Oundle School. With a bookplate to the front pastedown.

Condition
In a full calf binding, with gilt stamping to the spine and to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright. Scattered spotting to the endpapers, the odd spot to pages.
