What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Illustrated, Leather Binding

Rebound, in a half leather binding.

This work was commissioned for Landsborough to write following the success of his 'History of British Seaweeds'. It discusses animals that visually resemble plants. It is a now obsolete term and contains sections on the likes of the hydroid, hydrozoans, sea bristle, and vesicularia spinosa.

Illustrated, with twenty coloured plates.

Collated, complete.

A very bright copy of this fascinating study.

Condition

In a half calf binding, with cloth covered boards. Externally, very smart, with a few light marks to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Scattered spotting to the endpapers. Otherwise, just the odd spot.
