This is part eighteen of a wider natural history work which contains plates of plants, quadrupeds, birds and more.
Collated, complete.
The plates are very bright and contains images of Scarabs, Cicindela, Cantharides, Capricorn beetles and many more species.
Condition
In quarter morocco bindings, with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart. Just some minor shelfwear to the joints and extremities. Light tidemark to the page edges of pages across both volumes, not affecting the pages too badly. Heaviest to the head of some plates. Stamp to the final plate of volume I, and to the first and last plates of volume II, P Boulet. The odd spots to plages.
