What Our Customers Say...
First Edition, Leather Binding
The first edition of this work. A significant Victorian scientific work looking at the ways that water can be used to cure diseases. It involves the use of water to provide pain relief and treatment. People were supposedly apprehensive above the idea of the water cure, or hydrotherapy. Written by James Wilson, who was a Victorian medical doctor. Murray, alongside Dr James Manby Gully, established and operated a water cure establishment in Malvern, Worcestershire, in 1842, the same year that this work was published.
