An uncommon work. The eighteenth edition of this work. 'Selections From Physicians' Prescriptions' is a work intended for use by medical and pharmaceutical students explaining the language and abbreviations used by doctors in prescriptions. Written by Jonathan Pereira. Pereira was a pharmacologist, who is best known for his work 'Elements of Materia Medica', being the Professor of Materia Medica at the Pharmaceutical Society.

Condition

In a full cloth binding. Externally, smart. A couple of light marks to the boards and spine. A very little rubbing to the spine. Rear hinge is starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the odd spot.
