Description

Leather Binding

With monorchome plates and vignettes throughout, the work features many theories and demonstrated experiments to illustrate the popular scientific thought of the era. Contains the library bookplate of Llandover College, gifting the work to one M.L. Ballinger for a prize in Greek.

Condition

In calf binding with gilt detailing. Externally smart, there is some wear to the boards, and joints, with some sunning to backstrip. Internally, the pages are firmly bound but are lightly spotted throughout.
