First edition, second impression. Illustrated throughout with numerous plates and vignette illustrations.

Condition

In a red cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally smart, with just a couple of marks and light shelfwear. Dustwrapper is sound, though with labels to the spine panel and some chipping and closed tears to the edges. Internally, firmly bound. Front hinge slightly strained. Institutional labels to front free-endpaper. Pages are bright and clean.
