    Description

    Leather Binding

    Bookplates to the front pastedown and to the recto of front endpaper, 'The Daltry Library' and 'The Wells Bladen Gift'. 

    With an illustrated title page.

    This work discusses a selection of birds, with their Latin names, and a brief description. Birds discussed include the missel-thrush, redwing, rock-thrust, whinchat, redstart, sanderling, avocet and auk.

    Condition

    In a half calf binding, with cloth covered boards. Externally, very smart. Patches of rubbing to the joints and extremities. Bookplate to the front pastedown, and to the recto of front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright. Occasional light scattered spots to pages, heavier to the first and last few pages.
