Prior owners' inscriptions to the preliminaries. Inscriptions ar econtemporary.

A collection of essays on natural history, focusing purely on ornithology.

Condition

In a full calf binding, with gilt to the board edges and spine. Externally, very smart. Gilt has faded to the spine. Patches of light rubbing to the spine labels. Front hinge is strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, with a few light spots to endpapers.
