In three volumes, being volumes I, II, and VIII in Buffon's 'Oiseaux' series, being volumes XI, XII, and XVIII in Buffon's 'Histoire Naturelle' series.

Volume I illustrated with a frontispiece, and twelve plates.

Volume II illustrated with a frontispiece, and eight plates.

Volume VIII illustrated with a frontispiece and nine plates.

Written by Georges-Louis Leclerc, the Comte de Buffon.

Condition

In a full marbled calf binding. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities, with a small amount of loss to the spines. A little rubbing to the joints. Small cracks to the joints of Volume II. Hinges are starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean with just a few light spots.
