Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

In the publisher's original cloth binding. With an inscription to the recto of front endpaper to volume II 'From the Members of The Women's Own, presented to Rev Frank Harper as an appreciation of his devotion and loyalty to the Women's Own meeting during his ministry at Park Methodist Church Bradford. Signed by a Mrs Wilson and Mrs Daniell and dated 1937. Illustrated, with a portrait frontispiece to each volume. Wesley was the leader Methodism. He founded many societies which became the dominant form of what we know as Methodism today. With an introduction by W L Watkinson.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with just some minor shelfwear to the extremities. Gift inscription to the recto of front endpaper to volume II. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, with just the odd spot.
