In a contemporary calf binding. Externally, sound. Splits to the joints. Patches of rubbing to the joints and extremities. Small loss to the head and tail of spine. Shelf label to the tail of spine. Bookplate to the front pastedown. Hinges are strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright. Ink spots to the fore-edge. The odd spot to pages.
