Written by Antoine Alar, an ecclesiastical author, who took the habit of Dominicain in his hometown, before acquiring a reputation for his eloquence and zeal in his preaching. This is his best known work.

IN a vellum binding. Externally, worn, with some marks to the boards, and some wear to the extremities. Handwritten ink spine label. Ink inscription to the recto to the front free endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are age-toned with just the odd spot. Loss to the title page.
