Collated, complete with 109 'Text Illustrations', 83 black and white plates, and 9 colour plates.

Dustwrapper, excellent with just minor shelfwear only, including slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean, with the odd spot to the fore edge. Author's ink inscription to the title page. Small mark to upper extremity of title page, offset to frontispiece, not affecting the image.
