The Camden third series, which appeared in ninety-four volumes between 1900 and 1963. 

Comprising volumes XVII, XVIII, XIX, and XXI.

Bookplate to the front pastedown of volume XXI 'New York University Libraries'. Shelf label for the New york University library to the spine of this volume. 

Articles include 'ordinances of the chapter, 1241-1254', 'Injunctions Of Bishop Hugh of Balsham 1261', `The chronicle attributed to John of Wallingford', 'The Benares Diary of Warren Hastings' and 'The Restoration Visitation of the University of Oxford.

Condition

In full cloth bindings. Externally, very smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of spines as well as to the extremities Shelf label for the New york University library to the spine of volume XXI. Minor fading to the spine. Bookplate to the front pastedown of volume XVII, Percy J Pacey Castle Hacket, November 1965. Bookplate to the front pastedown of volume XIX, 'The Reform Club'. Bookplate to the front pastedown of volume XXI 'New York University Libraries'. Internally, all volumes are firmly bound. Volume XVII remains unopened to the top edge. Occasional institutional stamps for 'The Reform Club' to the XIX and of 'New York University Libraries' to volume XXI. Pages are bright with just the occasional spots.
