In a full calf binding with an elaborate decorated front board.
A run of the 'Punch' magazine from 1877, containing a complete run from the 14th July 1877 to the 15th December 1877, and also containing the 29th December 1877 issue.
'Punch' was a popular satirical weekly magazine, published from 1841 to 1992.
Illustrated heavily throughout with twenty-four plates, and in-text illustrations.
Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front free endpaper.
Bookplate of John Gadd to the front pastedown.
Condition
In a full decorative calf binding. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing and marks to the boards and spine. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Some red colouring in to the gilt to the front board. Bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some spots and handling marks.
