Description

Publishers' Original Binding

The second edition of this work.

From the library of Evan Cotton, or Sir Harry Evan Auguste Cotton, who was a member of the Harrison-Branfill family through the marriage of Sarah Harrison to Joseph Cotton in 1779.

Cotton was a Liberal politician, well known for his beloved work 'Calcutta Old and New'.

Cotton has annotated the work to the margins throughout, though heavier to the first forty or so pages.

There are thirty-two letters, newspaper clippings, and slips of annotated paper loosely inserted into this work, all of which are regarding Cotton and the Harrison-Branfill family.

Printed for private circulation.

A genealogy work on the Harrison-Branfill family.
