    Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

    Meticulously compiled and cross-referenced, this volume is an essential guide on British pottery, enabling any reader to not only identify pottery marks, but effectively date pieces, identify 'fake' works and learn more about British pottery. The volume also lists various patent and record offices, as well as local directories as its sources. Complete with illustrative plates and vignettes throughout.

    Condition

    In cloth binding with gilt detailing and price-clipped dustwrapper. Externally very smart. Minor bumping to extremities and rubbing to spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean throughout, with very minor spotting only to front free-endpaper. Dustwrapper, sound. Wrap rubbed and chipped. Loss of wrap to extremities and head and tail of spine.
