    Illustrated with thirty-two colour plates, and four monochrome plates.

    Collated, complete.

    List of subscribers and errata leaf are present.

    A detailed study into the field of ecclesiastical heraldry, a fascinating look into the Christian Church of England.

    Written by John Woodward, who was the rector of St. Mary's Church in Montrose.

    Bookplate of Jacob Murray Price to the front pastedown. Bookplate of Reverend Dr. G. B. Westwood to the recto to the front endpaper.

    Condition

    In a half morocco binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Light marks to the boards and spine. A little rubbing to the boards and spine, with a little loss of leather to the rear board. Minor fading to the spine. A few spots to the fore edge. Hinges are starting but firm. Front endpapers are working loose. Bookseller's label to the rear pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some odd spots and handling marks. Institutional stamp to the tail of the title page.
