A complete list of the oligocene and eocene mollusca held in Frederick Erasmus Edwards' collection, which was donated to the British Museum.

Edwards was a law clerk, and an amateur geologist.

Illustrated with one folding table.

Written by Richard Bullen Newton, a British paleontologist.

Seventeen pages of publisher's adverts to the rear.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Institutional label to the tail of the spine. Light marks to the boards. Light spots to the fore edge. Front hinge is starting but firm. Institutional label to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with some spots, mostly to the first and last few pages. Institutional stamp to the reverse of the title page.
