Upon its initial release there were advertisements in both the 'Art-Union' and 'Athenaeum' for this work. Coloured copies such as this were advertised for 20 shillings, but not many were produced, owing possibly due to the high cost and large size of the plates. The plates are on thick paper, which has remained in a bright condition.
