DETAILS

Two scarce works guiding the reader on diluting spirits and hard liquor, with adverts for various liquors throughout.

A scarce work. The first edition of these works. These two volumes are a guide for diluting spirits, intended for the sellers of hard liquor. The works have numerous tables for conversion, as well as an introduction with hints in reducing spirits, and other helpful information. With publisher's adverts to the front and rear of the works. One volume is undated, and has been dated 1923 from the adverts.

CONDITION

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, boards are rubbed with dampstaining to the boards of the 1923 edition. Front hinge of 1923 edition has failed, with evidence of tape repairs, and the rear hinge is strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with some scattered spots. The first few pages and the textblock from 115 to 128 in 1915 edition is working loose.

Overall Condition: Good Only
