Description
Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper
This work follows further adventures of the elephant, Mumfie. There are several 'Mumfie' books such as 'Mumfie's Uncle Samuel', 'Here Comes Mumfie' and 'The Wanderings of Mumfie'. Illustrated throughout, with many drawings by the author.
Condition
In original cloth binding held in unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart with bumping to the head and tail of spine. Externally, very smart with minor bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Dustwrapper is chipped to the head and tail of spine as well as to the extremities. Sunning to the wrap, particularly to the spine. A few marks and spots to the front and rear wraps. Loss to the head and tail of dustwrapper. Scattered spots internally to dustwrapper. Prior owner's inscription to the front pastedown, Bernice Grocott. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with just the odd spots.
