Leather Binding

With a portrait frontispiece of Alfred Lord Tennyson himself. This volume contains the complete poetical works of Tennyson and therefore features his greatest works including In Memoriam, The Lady of Shallot and Idylls of The King. Tennyson was the Poet Laureate of Great Britain and Ireland during much of Queen Victoria's reign. Even today he remains one of the most popular British poets.

Condition

In a half morocco binding. Externally, very smart with just some minor rubbing to the head and tail of spine and to the raised bands. Small hole to the rear cloth covered board, but only to the surface. Gift inscription to the recto of front endpaper, To Evelyn M Morton from Margaret W Bulley on her marriage - March 1906 with her very kind regards and best wishes. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with scattered spots throughout.
