    Description

    Illustrated

    Rambles and Rides in the Fair Places of Steam-Engine Land. Illustrated. Second edition. Allen Clarke was a writer of sketches of local life and character in the north of England, particularly Lancashire.

    Condition

    In a grey cloth binding with black lettering to the spine and front board. Externally, smart with just minor shelfwear. There is some bumping to the top and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with some scattered light foxing. There is an ink inscription to the recto of front free end papers.
