First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

Scarce in the original unclipped dustwrapper. With an introduction written by A A Milne. The music is written by H Fraser-Simson. Milne was a prolific author and is now best-remembered for his creation of Winnie-The-Pooh and his many friends. Each song has a brief description of the setting, relating to the tale from the original books. With the titles 'Isn't it Funny', 'How Sweet to be Cloud', 'It's Very Very Funny', 'Cottleston Pie', 'Sing Ho! for the Life of a Bear', 'Oh! The Butterflies are Flying', 'Christopher Robin is Going'. Illustrated throughout, with many pen-and-ink drawings by E H Shepard. Shepard is also known for his illustrations in 'The Wind in the Willows'.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, very smart with just some minor shelfwear. Dustwrapper is also very smart with a few examples of edgewear and minor chips to the head and tail of spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with just the odd spot.
