Illustrated throughout, with 156 pages of line drawings by Carlus Dyer. 

This is an early seventh impression of November 1969. 

An important work in the study of ballet, with new editions of this work being published into the twenty-first century.

Condition

In a quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. With price-clipped dustwrapper. Externally, very smart with just some minor shelfwear. Dustwrapper is generally smart with some minor chips to the extremities. Price stamp to the recto of front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
