David Garrick was an influential figure in the eighteenth century theatre scene. He influenced nearly all aspects of theatrical practice during this age and played a large role in the revival of Shakespeare's plays. His letters show his relationships with many noted figures of the age as well as portray the society and theatre of the era.

In the publisher's original cloth bindings. In original slipcase. Externally, in an excellent condition with minor shelfwear to the extremities. Slipcase is also in an excellent condition with just a few light marks. Internally, all volumes are firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Slipcase is in a Fine condition.
